Terms of Use

The ground rules

Short and plain: what Honeyroute does, what it doesn’t, and what you agree to by using it.

Draft for review. Written on Mon, Oct 12, 2026 from how the site’s code works today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and items marked “Owner input needed” must be filled in before launch.

Effective date: Owner input needed: Effective date of the reviewed Privacy Policy and Terms.

What this site is

Honeyroute is a search and comparison tool. It looks for award seats and cash fares, including trips that combine them, and shows you the options. It doesn’t book tickets, sell travel, hold or transfer your points, log in to your accounts or take payment. Every booking you make is with an airline or loyalty program, under their terms.

Prices and availability

  • Award seats, prices, taxes and fees come from third-party data and can be out of date or change before you book. Nothing shown is a guaranteed offer.
  • Estimated trip values convert points at a per-program rate. They are approximations to help you compare, not a statement of what your points are worth.
  • Examples and illustrations on this site use made-up numbers and are not live fares.
  • Transfer ratios and timings are taken from what card programs publish, and they can change. Your own card or account may differ.

Your part

  • Before you transfer any points, confirm the seat, the points required and the taxes and fees with the loyalty program itself. Transfers usually can’t be undone.
  • Book each ticket directly with the airline or program, and check its rules, fees and conditions.
  • Trips made of separate tickets carry extra risk: if one flight is delayed or cancelled, the other airline doesn’t have to help. Judge the connection time for yourself.
  • Check passport, visa and transit requirements for every country on your route.

Fair use

Searching is free, with a limit of 3 searches per visitor per day. Please don’t try to get around the limits, run automated searches or scraping, overload the service, or interfere with how it works. The site may refuse or limit requests to protect itself, and it may be unavailable at times.

Other companies’ sites

Results link to airlines, loyalty programs, card programs and a public flight search site. Those sites are run by other companies, under their own terms and privacy policies.

These parts depend on who runs the site and where, and still need to be supplied and reviewed:
